Our Story
nexurars was started in Kuala Lumpur by a group of infrastructure engineers who had spent years watching data science teams struggle with the gap between a working notebook model and a running production system. The pattern was always the same: brilliant ML work stalled by infrastructure that was either too fragile, too expensive, or too complicated for anyone to maintain after the original builders left.
We started the firm with a straightforward thesis — that most AI infrastructure problems are actually well-understood engineering problems, and that Malaysian organizations deserve local partners who understand both the technical and regulatory landscape here. Our first engagement was a cost audit for a fintech startup in Bangsar South that was spending more on idle GPU instances than on their engineering salaries. That project shaped the practical, outcome-focused approach we still follow today.
Today our team works with enterprises across financial services, manufacturing, logistics, and technology — helping them build ML infrastructure they can actually operate, pipelines their teams can maintain, and cloud budgets their CFOs can understand. We are not trying to be the largest consultancy in the region. We would rather be the one that clients call back because the systems we built still work two years later.
